Hasn't it been like this since the last financial crisis? Countries saying they want to leave but never doing it (apart from the UK and look how long that is taking)I voted for US$. Most Europeans are used to converting currencies to US$ however most Americans only seem to think in US$.
Also there is the political-economic risk of pricing in Euro's, whereas the US$ obviously fluctuates (as do all currencies of course) the fact is that the Euro-zone is becoming more unstable and might well see some countries leaving it or looking like they will leave it, this will make the Euro a far less stable currency.

It has always been unstable in my mind, to many cooks spoil the broth springs to mind......
