Key Takeaways
The high registration volume noted in early 2022 may have been affected by news linked to cryptocurrencies and NFTs. For instance, interest in Dogecoin went up after Elon Musk tweeted that Tesla merch can be bought using the cryptocurrency. Although interest continued, the registration volume declined in the following months. Still, it doesn’t mean people are no longer interested in crypto- and NFT-related domain names as bids for such web properties remain high on domain auction sites. Please visit our pricing page if you’re interested in obtaining domain investing insights from our NRD Database.
