It seems that the recent publicity around Bitcoin is drawing attention to NP$ again years after everyone stopped using it. But Bitcoin’s success doesn’t help NP$ in any way because NP$ was a lot less useful. Understandably so because it was conceived long before Bitcoin.
NP$ probably should have been domain names, such as LLL .com domains and then LLLL .com domains because they were mostly available at registration cost back then. That would have been interesting and not lost its intrinsic value. NP$ never had an intrinsic value and it lost its utility once better alternatives arrived, such as Bitcoin.
