With the influx of buyers from China acquiring short domain names in many different extensions, we sometimes forget about keywords and new gTLDs. In this week's New Names, we take a look at some of the recent purchases of NamePros members.
This week, we have two new gTLD entries, two keyword domain names and one portfolio of 6N domain names which was acquired by myself.
Buy.villas and Sell.villas
@Nanda Dianto: I acquired those few weeks ago. It's being developed to be Villas and Properties website. I'm going to retire in my life and diversify my assets into villas. So, why not create a website for it?
If you're looking for villas, Buy.villas is the way to go. If you're seller or agent, Sell.villas is the way to go
MarketingReport.com
@Tytus: Keywords are still king. The natural traffic is nice and has a good chance to flip for profit. I have no interest in the niche but still put up a placeholder site on it.
WeWantDrivers.com
@deflee79: I recently picked up WeWantDrivers.com with the intention of selling the name to a trucking company or recruitment service. In the US there is a huge shortage of drivers and I think this domain really speaks to the needs in the industry.
DN.Domains
@domainerfella: I think this needs no explanation. First I thought of selling this, but I felt it is better to set my shop right on this one. Everyone is looking for the right names for their portfolio, but it is often very hard to find.
I plans on this one. Stay tuned.
Seven 6N .COM Domains
@James Iles: I bought seven premium 6N .COM domain names this week with the funds I received from selling a few of my premium five letter .COM names. My new domains include 977753.com, 656589.com, 979729.com and 191928.com. I feel that the 6N category will increase in value within the next few months, and I'm pleased to say that I now have a small portfolio of 20 of these domains.
