What changes would you like to see to the TOS, Policies, and Procedures in the domain Industry that affect you as a domainer, client, member, or customer.
In lieu of the debacle that has taken place when some very valuable domain names got locked supposedly without a court order at one of the major Registrars, the domaining community needs to come together and demand that ICANN implement an immediate review of all the abuses and overreach that are currently being taken place at different Registrars, the Registry, and even ICANN itself.
There should be a set of Uniform Standards and Policies in regards to the Registrants’ Rights that can guarantee that everyone’s rights are protected the same regardless of which Registrar the domains are at.
If you have been done wrong somehow or if you are aware of certain issues and problems that have been ignored in the domain Industry here is your chance to bring your concerns to everyone’s attention.
Thread rules:
Everyone is invited to participate as long as things are kept on topic and are on the constructive, professional, and respectful side. You are allowed to criticize and express your dissatisfaction with the current policies and procedures and the way that things are being run and handled in the domain Industry, but you are not allowed to attack, belittle, or otherwise be disrespectful to any member, person, or entity. No foul or derogatory language is allowed.
